- ➤ For the next 10 days, Plano will count down 10 things it loves about the city in honor of The Good Stuff 10th Anniversary Block Party—tickets cost $10 and include two cocktails, light bites and entertainment, with free admission for ages 18 or under. Plano Magazine
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ Residents at Evana Grove Apartments will have to vacate by November 4 — a court order cited unsafe living conditions — and the owner is offering moving and housing aid to help the transition. NBC DFW
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Chance Culley has rushed for 1,195 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, putting Plano in playoff contention, and the Wildcats will host Prosper Rock Hill at John Clark Field on Friday — he hopes to reach 1,500 yards and earn more college offers. The Dallas Morning News
- ➤ The Dallas Stars are considering building a new $1 billion arena at Plano’s Shops at Willow Bend Mall—this plan may lead the team to move from downtown Dallas if talks move forward. Plano Star Courier
- ➤ Trophy Club Byron Nelson ended its regular season undefeated with a 36—0 record and stays ranked No. 1 as it prepares for today's 6A Division I bi-district playoff match against Mansfield Lake Ridge. - ➤ Plano Prestonwood Christian celebrated its third straight TAPPS 6A volleyball state championship while Dallas-area teams prepare for playoff action.
