- ➤ This morning, the Plano Symphony Orchestra named five finalists—Mélisse Brunet, Filippo Ciabatti, Gonzalo Farias, Jacob Joyce and Stilian Kirov—for its music director search as longtime leader Hector Guzman prepares to step down after four decades. Each finalist will rehearse with the orchestra during the 2026-2027 season, and a new music director will be named in 2027. Plano Magazine
