- ➤ The Legacy Knit and Crochet Club in Plano has donated over 50,000 handmade hats, scarves and blankets to schools and community organizations across North Texas—its annual donation giveaway will be held at The Legacy Willow Bend on Dec. 8 with more than a dozen groups picking up supplies. ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Twin brothers Cole and Huxley Gerrard from Jasper High School died in a crash on Thanksgiving Day—on Interstate 35 near the 382-mile marker when a van hit an 18-wheeler and four van passengers were hospitalized. FOX 4 News

- ➤ Plano approved the concept plan for a retail center on 2.6 acres at the northeast corner of Ohio Drive — McDermott Road. The approval comes after property owner Richard E. Ferrell requested a two-year extension following the plan’s October 16 expiration, with the commission originally approving it in October 2023. Plano Star Courier
