GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Plano has ongoing road repairs as officials fix aging streets—over 500 miles repaired since 2019 and 10 to 20 lane miles under work each day—with delays expected in many neighborhoods. The city will invest over $305 million in road, water and sewer upgrades through a five-year program to extend the life of its infrastructure. The Dallas Morning News

- ➤ The Texas Association of Basketball Coaches released its weekly high school basketball rankings for Nov. 17 — listing both boys and girls teams from public and private schools statewide — and noted that Plano’s boys team achieved a 2 to 0 record.
