- ➤ WalletHub analyzed prices for 26 grocery items in 100 large cities and found that residents in Detroit and Cleveland spend nearly 3.8% of their income on groceries—while Plano shoppers pay only 1.33%, pointing to lower grocery cost pressures. The study shows that cities with lower incomes face higher relative grocery expenses. FOX 4 News
