Texas Rangers pitcher Jacob deGrom left Thursday night's start against the Angels after two innings with right triceps fatigue & underwent an MRI Friday.
Manager Skip Schumaker said the injury added to the team's pitching challenges as they adjusted strategy during the road trip.
Calvin Watkins said the Cowboys-Rams joint practice showed mixed results as coach Schottenheimer (the head coach) praised the new offense but called defense too airy, and he noted a backup quarterback battle between Joe Milton and Sam Howell ahead of Saturday’s preseason game against Seattle.
The Dallas Cowboys will face the Seattle Seahawks in a preseason game at Lumen Field this Saturday.
It is the first meeting at the venue since the Seahawks won the NFC Championship and the Super Bowl; the Cowboys hope to build momentum for a playoff bid.
