- ➤ Gov. Greg Abbott signed a law that requires every Texas public school classroom to display a framed copy of the Ten Commandments—each display must be at least 16 by 20 inches and match the exact wording—and the law, set to take effect Sept. 1, is already facing legal challenges from local faith leaders and activist groups alleging a First Amendment violation. - ➤ Plano City Council approved the first flex office warehouse, keeping 16.8 acres in planned development corridor commercial zoning while 2.2 acres remain as corridor commercial—this decision sets clear zoning for the area. Plano Star Courier
