- ➤ SMU police are seeking Plano man Ian James Smith (23) who has eight stalking convictions after he allegedly threatened the campus online (his current location is unknown). FOX 4 News

- ➤ Country star Pat Green lost his brother, his sister in law, and their two children in the Central Texas floods — he hosted an online benefit concert on July 16th at 6:30 p.m. on YouTube to raise money for Kerr County Relief, TEXSAR, and the Do It For Durrett Foundation. FOX 4 News

- ➤ Five North Texas mayors, including Plano’s, asked Governor Abbott to bring back two DART reform bills that did not get a vote last session — one to fund a new mobility program and one to change the board makeup. They warned that if no changes are made, service cuts may hit riders while the special session starting Monday may see these bills added. The Dallas Morning News
