- ➤ A pedestrian died after being struck by a northbound vehicle while trying to cross near East Park Blvd and US-75 in Plano on Wednesday night—emergency responders said the collision triggered a chain reaction crash involving three vehicles. FOX 4 News
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ A Dallas County resident tested positive for measles, marking the first case this year, and visited two Plano locations while contagious. Health officials said the fully vaccinated woman in her mid-20s is no longer contagious and are notifying people who were at Lemma Coffee Co. (9 a.m.–noon on May 31) and First Baptist Church (1 p.m.–5:30 p.m. on June 1) to prevent further spread. The Dallas Morning News
