- ➤ Plano ISD announced 14 students were named recipients of corporate-sponsored National Merit Scholarships — awards that honor academic excellence — as part of the 2025 program. Plano Star Courier
- ➤ After two years of legal battles, the TEA released the 2023 accountability ratings for North Texas school districts including Dallas, Arlington and Fort Worth—each saw lower grades. The ratings, based on test scores and student growth, will be followed by new 2025 scores in August—state lawmakers recently passed a bill to limit future legal challenges. FOX 4 News
