- ➤ Early voting for the 2025 North Texas municipal elections will begin Tuesday, April 22 and run until April 29. Voters will choose mayors, school board members and decide on municipal bonds—voting hours differ by county. The Dallas Morning News
- ➤ Half of Plano’s City Council will change this spring as voters choose candidates for four contested seats—with ten candidates competing to lead the city’s transition—and Mayor John Muns running unopposed. Registered voters will also decide on seven propositions for nearly $650 million in bonds to fund street improvements and a new police headquarters — the largest referendum in city history.
