TITAS/Dance Unbound’s 2026 Command Performance and Gala is set to feature a new mix of performance styles — moving beyond classical ballet solos and duets.

Organizers say the event reflects a years-long evolution in programming.

The Texas State Board of Education will review a new social studies curriculum that could last 10 years, though critics say it focuses on Christian teachings rather than a diverse history — teachers worry about 60 plus learning objectives and urge parents to join the debate this summer.

Runge High School students will perform the one-act play 'To Burn a Witch' on April 20 after earning fourth place at the UIL area competition on April 6.
